Amegaeri Junmai Daiginjo

A sake moulded by the abundance of untouched nature surrounding its birthplace.

Amegaeri is a collaboration with the Tosa Sake Brewery of Kochi Prefecture, famed for its Keigetsu Brand. It takes its name from the Amegaeri waterfall, located near the source of the Yoshinokawa river that flows by the brewrey. The brewery is surrounded on three sides by mountains, and terraced rice paddies are dotted about the undulating landscape. The abundant nature and limpid water of Amegaeri's birthplace have imbued it with a purity and transparency of its own.

Staff comments

Elegant, refreshing notes of white peach intermingled with dairy notes reminiscent of cream cheese. Rounded but fresh, this Junmai Daiginjo is hard to resist. It pairs particularly well with elegant, cream dishes such as prawn gratin, crab-cream croquettes and piping hot winter fare.
