Amarta
Deep, sweet and endlessly complex, with a name inspired by the Sanskirt for "nectar of the Gods".
Amarta is a sake made in collaboration with the Miyoshino Sake Brewery, located in Nara Prefecture’s Yoshino. Its name is taken from a sanskirt word meaning “ambrosia”, or nectar of the gods. A honey-like sweetness perfectly balanced with high acidity, its profile is like that of a botrytised wine. Nade with unique brewing principles that brings the sake closer to the abundant nature of Yoshino surrounding it, Amarta is an unforgettable drinking experience.

Staff comments
It’s clear from the start that this is no ordinary sake. Pronounced notes of caramel on the nose, elegant but concentrated sweetness, well-balanced with fresh acidity, combine for a truly unique drinking experience. Pairs effortlessly with a wide range of cuisine, from steak to Basque cheesecake, and an excellent accompaniment to any caramel-based dessert.
