Aoringo Pomme Pomme Namazake

Just like biting into a freshly picked green apple.

Made by the Hachinohe Shurui Sake Brewery in Aomori Prefecture, Aoringo Pomme Pomme is just like taking a bite into a freshly picked apple. With its dazzling freshness and low alcohol content of 7%, it’s hard to believe it’s actually sake. Fermented at low temperatures for maximum fruitiness using a yeast that produces high levels of malic acid, the same type found in apples, enjoy it for its crisp apple flavours and refreshing finish. A special unpasteurised release, the extra level of crisp freshness gives it remarkable green apple flavours.

Staff comments

This sake is made with a special yeast that produces an unusually high level of malic acid – the same type found in apples. The result is a sake as fresh and fruity as an apple straight off the tree. All the more fresh for being unpasteurised, with energetic flavours just like green apples. Perfect summer drinking.
