Imanishi Seibei Sake Brewery
Hakuteki Junmai Ginjo
A pure sake, as white and polished as the rice used to make it.
Hakuteki is a collaboration with the Imanishi Seibei Sake Brewery of Nara Prefecture. The name Hakuteki literally translates as “white drops” – the colour white has long had a religious significance in Japan, with associations of purity, and this sake lives up to its name with its pure, transparent flavour profile. We hope you’ll enjoy these heavenly drops from Nara Prefecture.
Flavour profile
Initial notes of eucalyptus and white sugar give a cool, refreshing impression, followed by sweet aromas of fresh melon. Smooth texture on the palate with voluptuous sweetness judiciously balanced with acidity, culminating in a vibrant finish.
