Takanoi Sake Brewery
Iono Tokubetsu Junmai Hatsushibori Nakagumi Namagenshu
A delicious hatsushibori, born in the cold of winter.
Iono is a collaboration with the Takanoi Sake Brewery of Niigata Prefecture. “Iono” is an old name for Uonuma region, where the brewery is located. The Iono Tokubetsu Junmai Hatsushibori depicts a classic winter scene in the region, where traditionally made Ojiya hemp is laid out and conditioned in the cold snow. The Hatsushibori is made in the same bitter winter cold, making for a beautiful, clear sake.
