Iono is a collaboration with the Takanoi Sake Brewery of Niigata Prefecture. “Iono” is an old name for Uonuma region, where the brewery is located. The label of the Iono Low-Temp. Aged Junmai Ginjo is inspired by the flowing water of the river that runs near the brewery. Surrounded by mountains, the region is blessed with high quality water sources that imbue the sake with elegance, softness and purity, accompanied by a burst of brilliant flavour.

Made from 100% Gohyakumangoku, the signature rice variety of Niigata Prefecture, this Junmai Ginjo is carefully matured at low temperatures. Offering elegant aromas of white flowers, on the palate it is pure and transparent with superbly refined umami. Pure in its simplicity, pair with elegant starters and lighter styles of hot pot.
