A sake that shows the Asahi rice variety at its fullest potential.

This sake is a collaboration with the Kumaya Sake Brewery of Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, using the Asahi rice variety, one of the prides of the prefecture. The rice is also often used for sushi, and the variety’s easygoing umami and freshness are packed into this bottling.

Flavour profile

Aromas of pear compote, followed by the freshness and sweetness of ripe apples on the palate. Nuances of orange peel and nuts that add complexity. A relatively light profile perfect for pairing with seafood.
