Hirai Junmai

Named for the flight of migratory swans, which arrive at the brewery each year when brewing is about to begin.

Hirai is a collaboration with Niigata Prefecture’s Koshitsukano Sake Brewery. Named for the migratory swans that land on a lake located near the brewery, their arrival each year is a sign that the brewing season is about to begin. We hope you will enjoy this sake with the same feeling of anticipation.

Flavour profile

Mild, rounded aromas of melon, Chinese quince and pears. Soft on the palate with an aftertaste of mushroom and a radish-like earthiness and astringency adding structure. Served warm, it is satisfyingly full-bodied.
