A Daiginjo brewed from specially classified sake rice.

This sake is a collaboration with the Takeuchi Sake Brewery of Shiga Prefecture. Made exclusively from Yamada Nishiki rice, sourced from plots belonging to the “Special A” classification (designating them as a source of the highest quality rice), Gekka-no-Okami is contoured with firm structure and perfect symmetry.


Flavour profile

Gentle aromas of fresh green apple and muscat grapes. A refined sweetness that evokes Japanese pears and white peach combines with fresh, delicate acidity for an immensely satisfying drinking experience. Impressively robust structure and layered depth, typical of Sake made from Yamada Nishiki rice. There is considerable length and clarity to its umami, inviting you to take another sip.
