Manatsuru Karakuchi Yamahai Muroka Tokubetsu Junmai Namagenshu

Respecting the brewing techniques of yesterday to bring you sake you will love today.

Manatsuru is a collaboration with the Tanaka Sake Brewery of Miyagi Prefecture. “Tsuru” is the Japanese world for crane – they have long had connotations of long life, friendship and good fortune. The Tanaka Sake Brewery sticks to the traditional techniques of sake brewing that have made its sake beloved by many, in pursuit of a sake that will be equally popular in the modern era. This special bottling is matured at low temperatures and released unpasteurised for an extra fresh style.

Staff comments

An exclusive sake released at the end of each summer. Fresh aromas of pair with a touch of caramel on the finish. A richer style of unpasteurized sake, well-balanced by zippy acidity and perfect for hot summer days. Pair with more characterfully flavoured starter dishes. A great choice for your first glass.
